Señor O' ô¿ê<br /><br />ADVICE:<br /><br />Learning a language is:<br />80% vocabulary memorization:<br />repetición, repetición, repetición,<br />y práctico, práctico, práctico! <br /><br />20% is grammar or sentence structure. <br />The rules are taught in class<br />( but you can practice them anywhere. )<br /><br />If learning doesn’t come naturally...<br />.....then you’ll have to work at it! :<br /><br />Keep a positive attitude.<br />ASK QUESTIONS!<br />Stop in for help before or after school.<br />Make flashcards (vocab word--picture) <br />Use the flashcards 35 times.<br />Write the words on your calendar. <br />Connect the words to English. alto = tall ( like altitude )<br />Describe everything! Él es alto. etc... <br />Think in Spanish where you normally zone out: exercising, standing in line,...<br />Write the 5 verb forms on your hand. <br />Teach somebody, family, friend, etc.<br />Eat, drink, watch, and listen to Spanish<br />Check out www.ospanish.blogspot.com<br />Work with a study buddy.<br />Make sure homework is done by Friday.<br />Pretest yourself on Sunday night.<br />Correct and rewrite your errors X 10.<br />Retake quizes and tests.<br />Keep trying!
